PSC Inspections

The results of Port State Control (PSC) inspections are often used by many interested parties for benchmarking and analysis of the performance of individual ships and fleets. On board our managed fleet we see a lot of Port State Control inspections (373 inspections in 2012) which we can monitor and analyse in order to benchmark our performance and identify ways in which we can improve our performance.

Vessels under the management of Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd have a good Port State Control record, which we believe compares well with other ship managers and the best performing flag states.

We have analysed the last 3 years (1 Jan 2010 - 31 Dec 2012) of PSC inspection results and we provide a summary of these in the table below.

Zodiac Maritime Agencies will publish the results of our PSC performance on our web site on an annual basis. We will benchmark this performance against other published data where it is available.

US Coastguard

On the 26th July 2012 we received confirmation from the US Coast Guard that 27 of our managed vessel had achieved the Qualship 21 qualifying criteria. Qualship 21 is a USCG initiative which aims to identify high quality ships and provide incentives to encourage high quality operations.
