OPERATIONS MANAGER - LONDON BASED VACANCY

We currently have an opening in our Operations Department for an experienced Operations Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of vessels across a diverse fleet, whilst continuously monitoring the vessel's performance to ensure that the overall performance is in line with the Owners expectations and keeping operational costs to a minimum.

Previous experience in a similar shore based position is required along with previous seagoing experience as Chief Officer or Captain. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a full understanding and application of various sectors including containers, chemicals, car carriers and dry bulk and possess advanced knowledge of different trade routes, bunkering, controlling operational costs and post fixtures.
