The results of Port State Control (PSC) inspections are often used by many interested parties for benchmarking and analysis of the performance of individual ships and fleets.
During 2013 there were 311 PSC inspections carried out on board ships managed by Zodiac Maritime Agencies and these are all monitored and analysed in order to benchmark our performance and identify ways in which we can improve our performance.
We believe that vessels under the management of Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd. have a good Port State Control inspection record, which we believe compares well with other ship managers and the best performing flag states.
A summary of the last 3 years (1 Jan 2011 - 31 Dec 2013) of PSC inspection results is provided in the table below.
Zodiac Maritime Agencies will publish the results of our PSC performance on our web site on an annual basis. We will benchmark this performance against other published data where it is available.
Inspections 01/01/11 - 31/12/13
|PSC Authority||Inspections||Observations Reported||Ave Obs/Insp||% of Inspections with Obs||% of Inspections that Resulted in Detention|

On the 26th July 2012 we received confirmation from the US Coast Guard that 27 of our managed vessels had achieved the Qualship 21 qualifying criteria.
Paris MOU (New Inspection Regime)
The New Inspection Regime of the Paris MOU monitors the performance of Companies as well as individual ships. The assessed performance is then used to target ships in the higher risk categories for PSC inspections. In August 2013 the PSC inspection results of ships under the management of Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd while in Paris MOU ports was such that the Company was considered to be a 'High' performing company.
