We’re excited to announce the launch of our OpenOcean CREW app – a groundbreaking digital solution that puts essential information directly into our seafarers’ hands.
Launched in January 2025, this powerful app provides our 6,500+ global seafarers with instant access to upcoming assignment, e-tickets and essential documentation related to their employment with Zodiac Maritime. The app’s intuitive design allows users to access details of their next assignment instantly and all in one place, eliminating traditional paper-based processes and enhancing speed and efficiency.
The results speak for themselves. Within the first week, over 1,400 seafarers downloaded the app, with 400-500 daily active users – numbers that continue to grow daily.
“It provides a very intuitive layout for Zodiac seafarers. You can track your documents and certificates on the go. The reminder function for certification renewal is also an excellent feature,” reports Third Officer Anuj Raj.
