WinGD has been selected as the main engine designer for six of Zodiac Maritime’s VLCC newbuildings, which were ordered at Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry as part of our wider fleet growth and renewal programme across several vessel segments.
We are pleased to be working with a world-class engine designer whose expertise will help ensure that our newbuildings are equipped with the latest energy-saving technology, leading to reduced carbon emissions and second to none reliability.
Along with signing a memorandum of agreement for closer collaboration and partnership, we took the opportunity to have open and constructive discussions about relevant topics such as innovation for energy efficiency, future fuels, operational optimisation and quality assurance. We look forward to deepening our collaboration even further in the future.
